Connection of my 'labandera' with the 'ralyistas'...
Like any other day, mine started with the song Accidentally In Love, my phone alarm tone (which by the way I’m starting to hate because it signifies that I should be off to work!) . No, It’s not because I don’t like to do my tasks *wink*… but it means that I have to leave my fluffy pillows and squishy-squashy bed! =(… hehehe…
As a morning routine I turned on the Radio to RX, yeah I’ve long been monsterized! I don’t know why, but ever since, Chico and Delamar’s Morning Rush puts me on the mood to do my do’s (Translation: gawin ang mga gawain. ~ go to school *then* and go to work *now*). So today was a bonus since it’s a Wednesday Bradley’s on the show… that would add a lot of spice… But then their Top ten topic today did not get me hooked. Oh well, what a boring topic I can’t even remember what it is… hehehe… So I just went on with my daily routine – when all of a sudden I heard an earsplitting voice saying “Magtipon tipon tau sa ayala! Lahat ng nakakarinig sa akin sumama na po kayo sa rally na magpapabago ng ating knabukasan!”. What the %$#@$^!!! I remembered that there will be a big rally along Ayala Ave.
Lots of thoughts quickly sank in my mind:
Haayyy!. So there, I started thinking, should I use my timeoff or not. Scenes from the last rally held in Ayala just flashbacked, while I was crossing Ayala from RCBC, people from the rally are coming towards my direction. Raising and beaming red flags while chanting “Ibagsak c Gloria!” *or something like that* hehehe. Scary db? ~eto naman kasing magaling nating Mayor.. kundangan b namang sa Business district payagan ang mga rally palibhasa kaalyado… tsk tsk tsk!. Is this his way of showing how he really cares for the Philippines, by in somehow negatively affecting businesses? What would the investors say? Most especially some of the efficient and productive people are hindered to go to work *ahem* wahaha! Still half decided whether I should go to work or not, I was scanning my closet to pick what I would like to wear.
Kabloom!
There!, instant decision. I will use my TO. My never reliable labandera was not able to deliver the laundry…. Waaahhh!
Hmmnn...now I would like to list all the things that I missed (disadvantages) of staying at home:
- First of all, I have not seen June for almost three weeks now. Being both jetsetters, our schedules did not meet. And today that she’ll be coming to the office, I’m not. (But thanks to her also, she’s my letter sender *Khriz will not be coming in today. She is not feeling well
* wahaha! –this is partly true… hahaha!) - I missed my lunch buddies, lalo na wla naman akong makaaway d2 sa bahay ~wala c Ferdie~. Wahaha!
- I missed Justin’s food from his Project (sayang inalok mo ako e nasa bahay naman ako) Wahaha!
- I missed having not-all-intelligent conversations with my Tita Les ~f2f kasi nag usap pa dn naman kami sa MSN. Wahaha!
- I missed generating the Metrics for the Project *wink* and making bola…etchos! Wahaha!
- I missed ASP.Net, SQL and Adhoc… Wahaha!
- I missed my team8s na makukulit…. Lalo na ung front liner na victim ko sa kakulitan ko.. Wahaha!
- I am now bored. Watching ANC News and listening to all of their bulls are so “nauseatic”!!!
But then again what did I like about this day:
- I went back to sleep this morning… bwahahaha! This is the life!!!
- I did not have to spend a penny for my food. *wink*
- I watched Pilipinas, Game K N b? (I was entertained by Kris’ “Korek!” with matching pointing of her finger…. hehehe). Amazingly, the contestant won a Million. (I have only watched this show twice and on that two instances both of the contestants won a Million. (The 2 questions worth a million are: What year was the e-mail established? And What country has 11 official names?)
- I watched Bulagaan and again I was really laughing out loud with JOSE as Wangbu. He candidly imitates Bamboo performing and singing Allelujah! Wahaha! Try to catch it on Saturday @ Eat Bulaga! “Bamboo meets Wangbu!!!”. I’m looking forward for this. It would be a total blast.
- I am very much secure that I will not be a part of any riot. hehehe!
- Lastly, I was inspired and had the luxury of time to do this blog.
Bottom Line Equation:
Unpredictable ‘Labandera’ + Belligerent ’Ralyistas’ = TIME OFF / KATAM
