Missing You

Roughly a week from now, it will be one full year since you left. Yeah, back then I was just joking around that finally I can be free as a bird. I can do anything I want without worrying if it might upset you. I can come home very late after late night gimiks. But then again, I really missed you a lot.

I made a list of the things I missed without you on my side:

• If you were here I wouldn’t be coming late in the office. (You’re my beautiful human alarm clock.—I have to be honest… the reason why I really wake up is that you’re voice literally is getting in to my nerves. lolz!)
• I would have baon in the office everyday, just like before. Now, I really get jealous with my officemates who have baons. =((
• I would have a person who’s always looking forward to hear all of my stories.
• I would not have bulging eye-maletas since you always tell me when to stop watching TV.
• I would not have any problem for ‘barya’ for the jeepney fare.
• I would not have to pay a luxury dinner on Sundays or any occasion.
• My Inbox would be full of text messages with Prayers or Good Mornings everyday.
• I would have more nilagang mais, talong (iba’t ibang luto), menudo and other home cooked meals.
• There’s someone who’ll be really happy if may pasalubong ako na mani (ung nabibili lang sa street stands).
• There’s someone who will really laugh at my corny jokes.
• And most of all, There will be someone who would not get tired na sabihing ang ganda ko! Wahehe!

Yep yep, I really miss her. I guess chatting (sa office and sa unit until wee hours), exchanging emails, phone calls, texts and chikkas were not enough.

Btw Mommy, if you’re reading this I’ve been a good girl. uummmwwaaahh!
