Jake and the likes are here...

Last Wednesday i met three striking people. Ahmm.. these are just ordinary persons that i met while im at the elevator, the music store and in the jeepney.

First encounter, Being stressed and all with office works. I decided to join my friends in a quick stroll at Glorietta. We went out in the office early to get to the mall before closing. While we were on the elevator, the lift suddenly stopped. What we thought is that there was a black out again. Because earlier that day, three consecutive power interruptions happened during lunch time. (Darn! reminds me of my lost works... simple CTRL+S was forgotten... argghh! lessons learned.) As a self confessed 'claustrophobic' ... shucks i was afraid to death thinking that i'll be stuck on that elev. The girl nearest to the door pressed the emergency button. The bell rang, the operator spoke and luckily the elev went up to the 12f again. Whew! I kept on saying that what just happened was really weird. But no it was not weird it's stupid. hehehe. Gorgeous June had it all figured out. The very same girl who called for help by pressing the emergency button was the one who started it all. Apparently, Gorgeous saw her (accidentally) press the STOP button. Gosh! And what's funny is that she too was pretending to be very shocked and clueless. Haizzz that girl... Buti na lang nag Star margarine c Gorgeous ... hahaha!

While we were at Landmark, Sexy G had a sudden desire to buy VCDs and Video Karaokes. So we stopped by at the Music Store in the ground floor. I let Sexy G look for what she wants while i window shop movie vcds. And then suddenly, I heard a really loud voice. When i turned around to know what it is. I saw a man singing his heart out. At first I thought that there was a live performance cd playing in the store. Pero ndi... may mama na performance level ang pagkanta. Just imagine Erik Santos, Christian Bautista and Mark Bautista's singing power in one man. Eto pa.. paglingon ko.. katabi nya c Sexy G.. hahaha! What was he doing? No, he was not serenading my friend. Hinahanap lang nya ung CD ni Elton John na may "Sorry seems to be the hardest word." Wahaha! d ko talaga mapigil ang aliw ko sa lalakeng un... The sales ladies were also looking at each other... Kung andun lang kau.. naku mapapahanga dn kau sa lalaki.. hahaha! Kakaiba sha!

On my way home while on the jeepney, there was a very petite woman in the sidewalk who is making "para" our jeep (yeah conyotic.. haha!) . The driver stopped but did not pull over. Ayan na nakarinig na ako ng "Mama, itabi mo!". Hmnn.. interesting.. anliit na tao pero parang antapang magsalita. In the jeepney, she was seated beside me. Tapos biglang ginitgit kami ng bus.. shet... natraffic kami... d2 na nagsimula litanya ng babaeng katabi ko... "Ano b yan? Naku hindi na talaga uunlad ang Pilipinas... kahit cnong ilagay na Presidente.. wlang mangayayari satin... c Gloria man o iba ... wala na... Hindi na tau makakabangon... " Habang nagsasalita sha nakikipag eye contact pa sha samin.. and parang iniinvyt nya kaming magsabi ng sarili naming opinion about our Government. Gusto ko sana ung mga ganyan usapan eh. pero naku naman.. bakit mo cnisi kaagad sa Gobyerno ang panggigitgit ng bus. Dapat kng may galit ka sa JMK bus lines mo ilabas. I just find it weird na ganun. She looks like a very busy woman. Madami shang dala dala and looks like sobra na shang pre-occuppied sa work nya. I looked at her again and spyly checked on her kasi baka naman isa sha sa mga ralyista. Pero hndi laptop ang dala dala nya. I know where she's coming. Haaayyy madami cguro gumugulo sa utak nya.

These three persons may be perceived as weirdoes (ay ung una pla stupid weirdo.. hehe). But we have no right to judge them db? Let's just say that they have issues. Don't we all? It's just through our way of letting those issues out that others may not understand.

'Wag na taung tumingin sa malau. Since the coding phase has already started, you can say that i'm a challenged person again. Last Tuesday night while at work, I got Gorgeous really bothered. She saw me talking in front of my PC as if i am having an argument with someone. hahaha! Sabi nya sakin umuwi na ako at magpahinga. In order for me to save myself to be perceived as a freak who talks to herself, I introduced her to my friend Jake. Wrong move. wahaha! Mas lalo shang natakot.. hehehe!

I guess we all are stressed and pressured at work, the other day my TeamLead called my teammate. "TeamLead: Nabel, tnatawag mo ako? Nabel: nope... TeamLead: ano ba yan nakakarinig na ako ng kung ano ano"... wahaha! And even Gorgeous have small talks with her spidey.

Haayyy! What's happening? Weirdoes are on the loose.

Btw, Jake is my imaginary friend. bwahaha! =) Joke lang 'tong c Jake ha.. bka d nyo na ako kausapin.

Go USTe!

It has always been an exciting experience watching the UAAP Cheering Competition (even onTV lang). I don't know but I have been an addict na with this competition every year since my Major college years. I first watched the competition live during my 3rd yr in college. Biglaan lang ung pagbili ng ticket and we just let one of our classmates to buy the tickets. When we were @ the dome our tickets lead us to UP's bleachers... nyahahay.. anong gnagawa namin dun.. hahaha! Shempre ang dami dami nila and talagang may chant cla with matching Adolf Hitler hand movement.. nyehehe. That was the first time USTe snatched the crown from U.P. and kahit na takot kaming ma-mock ng mga UPians .. eh nung in-announce na na Champion for that year ang USTe ... talgang nakisabay kami sa "Go USTe! Go USTe! Go USTe! GO GO GO GO!" wahaha! People around us were really looking at us in a certain way. hahaha! Tapos ngaun pang 4th year na sa USTe ... Galing talaga kasi atleast minsan lang ako nanonood ng live it was a very victorious scene pa.

I am also contented na watching it at home. Mas maganda mga view na makikita. Galing galing ng Salinggawi dancers. Hmnn.. I have no contacts or whatsoever with the Salinggawi Dance Troupe. Pero since mejo nainvolve din ako sa mga cheerings during college (ate ko naging cheerdancer at meron talagang cheering competition between our Majors) na-enjoy ko sha and na-aappreciate ko.

All the Groups who fought for the 2005 UAAP Cheering Champion Title was very good, yeah including La Salle... hehehe!

What can i say about the Universities who participated? Ahhmm...

1. Ateneo - They were cute on those Cheerleading uniform. Sila lang ang naka-skirt and they are very unique for this season because of that. Was not able to catch them really kasi when I tuned in they are almost over with their routines.

2. Adamson - This one I have to watch. Kasi naman napamahal na sakin ang Adamson... hahaha! Pero dun sa taong nag- aaral d2 ayaw nya panoorin mga ka-schoolmate nya... I'm pertaining to my brother... i invited him to watch it with me.. hahaha! ayaw nya.. nilayasan b naman.. hehehe... Anyway, Nagandahan ako sa Cheer nila! in fairness mukhang prepared din. It's just that they have no gulat factor. Siguro kaya ndi cla maka-place. Konting effort pa .. kaya nyo rin yan!

3. NU - For the past years, natutuwa ako sa kanila kasi cla ung may mascot na bulldog. Pasaway ung bulldog na un eh! hehehe! Pero since nag-break ako ng mga oras na nagpeperform cla... hndi ko cla napanood. hehehe! Naabutan ko naman ung pahuli nila.. and napatanong pa ata ako kay Ate kng anong school un.. kasi mejo goldish ang uniform.. akala ko tuloy UST.

4. UE - I have to pass. Not enough diskspace na brain ko.. d ko maalala ang performance nila.

5. UP - Our mortal enemy in the Cheering Competition. hehehe! As they say ,they were very unique with the stunts and all. Sobra mahihirap nga cguro stunts nila kasi may bumagsak ata sa isa sa mga pyramids if i'm not mistaken. Pero magaling cla! They looked so prepared and confident as always. Pero their presentation for the 'Non Stop Promo Dance' was not that 'awwing'... If they have used a livelier dance costume mas maganda tlaga. I dont know kng ano tawag dun pero ung ung parang suot ni Renee Zellweger and Catherine Zeta Jones sa dance number nila sa Chicago the Movie. Maganda concept it was just not that emphasized. Nga pala ang isa pa tumatak sa isip ko with this univ is the girl who co-hosted boom. Wahaha! ang energy level nasa rurok ng ika-pitong gloria! hehehe!

6. FEU - Kinabahan dn ako sa isang ito. Malupet! They were like UST na in their performance.. hehehe... Kaya lang kulang sa timing.. Mejo nahalata sa TV na ndi nagsabay sabay sa isang routine...Ang cute ng 'Promo Dance' nila. Patok ang Tahiti dancing! All in all deserving ito... db Nek? hehehe =)

7. UST - May dapat pa b akong sabhin d2? hehehe. Their uniforms were growling for victory! Their execution was close to perfect and malinis ang mga galaw. Super maganda tingnan. Sila ata nagpauso sa mga super variation with the cheer dances... hehehe... Pasaway ang mga music (lalo na ung Not That Kinda Girl by JoJo) and sound effects (narinig ko c Undertaker). Kakabugin talaga! The 'Promo Dance' was very different. Ito ung gulat factor sa Judges and Audience na cnasabi ko...kaya lang may isang pasaway na nagkamali ng pasok ng butas. Maling spot ang nilabasan nya...hehehe...Pero ok pa dn kasi nga maganda... basta for me may ibang zest talaga pag Salinggawi na. Congrats satin! panindigan na natin to kasi ndi na naman tau lalaban sa Basketball.. eto na lang ang gnagawa ng USTe na matino.. wahaha!

8. La Salle - Who would let an intermission number pass by? nyahaha! joke lang po... Entertaining din ang La Salle lalo na sa part na Halleluja by Bamboo was played. Love ko kalbo talaga! hahaha! Kaya lang panira lang talaga riffle props nila ~accdg. to my Ate who's an expert. hehehe~. Kasi naman.. mga model platoons nga nahihirapan sa mga stunts with rifle sila pa na walang CAT or PMT. Haizz.. next tym stick wih lipsticks and blush ons as ur props ... hehehe! Alam ko nagaganto ko mga taga La Salle kasi mababait cla. =P

I'm sure next year UP na... sabi kasi ni edward pag 4 years in a row na nanalo... rest na muna.

Kaaliw cla lahat... ung mga music nila may mga sound effects... dko alam kng theme nila yun this year hehehe... Ang kulit ng music ng adamson may 'stig at lupet na sound effects.. wahaha! Sorry eto nanaman ako... pero sa lahat ng napanood ko La Salle nanaman ang wla akong narinig na sound effects... hehehe... napancn ko lang. Intermission na intermission tuloy lalo dating.. wahaha! d sumusunod sa theme.. nyahaha! peace! =P
